The birth of Jesus Christ is a fundamental event for Christianity, celebrated on December 25. According to the accounts in the Gospels, Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Joseph, her husband, were in Bethlehem for a census ordered by the Roman emperor (Roman Empire). While they were traveling, Mary began to feel labor pains and, finding no place in an inn, gave birth in a stable.
Jesus was born and wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. His birth was announced by an angel to the shepherds who were in the nearby fields. These shepherds went to Bethlehem to worship the child. This event is considered the coming of the Savior, bringing hope and joy to humanity.
