The Holy Trinity is a central mystery of the Christian faith that speaks of one God in three distinct but united Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are not three different gods, but one single God who manifests Himself in three different ways.
The Father is the one who created the world, the Son is Jesus Christ, who came to earth to save humanity, and the Holy Spirit is the presence of God living within people to guide and support them. These three Persons are equal in power and glory, but have different roles. The Trinity shows that God is love and communion, a God who lives in relationship and not alone. This helps to understand that the Christian faith believes in a God who is both unity and diversity, love and shared life.
